I don't see undo/redo functionality, could use Swing's undo/redo framework 
for this. Then you'd also be able to show action history window (like in 
Paint.net [see http://getpaint.net]). Also you'd be setting some of the 
foundation that way for adding scripting/automation to the app (including 
macro recording/playback functionality).
