network sockets unusable?

Hi.

I tried to execute a jar that is using sockets and thus calls

[Thread "main" --> JNI: java.net.PlainSocketImpl.initProto()]

at some time. This leads to:

unimplemented (JVM_Listen in ../../../substrate/jvm.c:1811)

Does this mean that sockets are currently unusable from applications
running on the MaxineVM?
