MusicBuddies is a peer-to-peer file sharing application for exchanging music, while obeying German copyright law. Its probably most distinctive feature, which makes MusicBuddies legal, is that only friends are allowed to share music. Therefore, you might think of MusicBuddies as some kind of distributed social networking platform custom-made for music sharing.

Please note that MusicBuddies is currently under development and there is no product release yet. The software is to be created during a software development lab held at Institut für Informationssysteme (Technische Universität Braunschweig) in summer semester 2010.
