naws3 and GSON

Naws has existing templating for JSON. If you have some applications in Java and you want to convert to JSON or convert JSON to java, GSON offers some help. It is not clear what value there is in having GSON as a part of the naws core. GSON would be useful if you are writing a template or handler, or using Groovy or Beanshell. If you have Jersey do you need GSON, is there a way to merge the two so that naws3 can alwasy just return and or accept JSON with no effort using a possibly primitive rule for mapping.
