This is a *start* to recreating the "release" target that generated
the self-contained jar files. It is not yet usable.
The "javadoc" target is consistent with how the docs have been
built for the last few releases. Whats missing:
- script for post-processing the javadocs to add source links, etc
- script for generating the handler and template summaries
- script for generating the change logs (no longer needed - just use
svn or equivalent)
