Hi,

I am trying to do some Android development in NetBeans but can't seem add the Android platform, per these instructions: http://wiki.netbeans.org/IntroAndroidDevNetBeans

The problem occurs when I try to select the platform folder. NetBeans will not allow me to select the folder.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

I have never seen that link, looks like it could be old. http://kenai.com/projects/nbandroid/pages/Install might be "better", however you should know that this plug-in does not work with Android 1.5, at least out of the box. It is doubtful it ever will.

Look at the thread with a title like 'What is Plug-in status', for ways to do Android development in Netbeans, sans plug-in. The Netbeans Free form Project looks cleanest, if you do not need Android source code.

I got it working following the wiki instructions. I had to go back and download the 1.0 version of the sdk, but it worked.
