| I am investigating using OpenEMPI in a multi-tenant situation e.g. multiple enterprises in a single database instance. Has anyone done anything like that yet? If not, I would appreciate any thoughts on how I might approach siloing the data. |

This is actually the scenario that OpenEMPI is designed to operate in. The idea is that you have multiple provides of person demographic data and you need a mechanism to help you identify cases where multiple identifiers have been assigned that point to the single physical entity. By sending message to OpenEMPI about each new entry created or any updates made to existing entries, OpenEMPI will ensure that duplicates are not introduced in the system based on your definition of a matching algorithm. Let me know if this answers your question. |
