Subject: \[sjsu-msse-program\] Any one looking for 295 Project Guide? do read this

Hi, Just to let you guys know that Sun Microsystems ans San Jose State University has a collaboration of giving out external Final Masters Projects to students and have them a chance to have a hands-on experience with the corporate ambiance.

I and my team have been working with Sun for the same and we are in the final phase of our Masters project. And its really a good experience to have and there are different projects to work on, which would be useful for students.

So if anybody looking for a MS project(295) , do consider the proposal and if anybody requires any information. you can contact Sandeep Konchandy (Sandeep.Konchady@ sun.com) who is working with Sun, and would get you going with the projects.

Even you get many advantages too while working with Sun. BTW, this is the link for the advantage that we got, working with Sun Microsystems Mobile Interface To Enterprise Data and Sun and San Jose State University.

Also, if you guys need any help regarding this. Unicast any of  us with an email, any time  and we would be happy to serve any one of you.

Thank you guys, for reading it

  • Sandeep Konchady: I am a Sun employee as well as a student at San Jose State University (SJSU), California (2008). It was during my final semester at SJSU that I went looking for projects within Sun. This is one of the required exercises for fulfilling MS in Software Engineering. Sun, as we know, has a vast amount of source for technologies related to enterprise application development in the open. This makes Sun an ideal candidate to offer project to universities and students who are interested in working on the cutting edge of enterprise technology. I received a lot of response from within Sun for my project request. Looking at this enthusiasm, I decided approach the directory of Software Engineering at SJSU. To my surprise this was a welcoming proposal to them too. Since then, Sun has and is offering projects from GlassFish, Mural and other open source Aquarium communities to SJSU students. So far we have had four teams signed up and four more in the pipeline for Fall 2008. Feedback from one of the teams is shown above. Helping students adopt tools and technologies that makes then desirable in the industry is just one of the benefits from this program. I hope to work with the student community at java.net to expand this program to other universities in the bay area as well as outside.
