I got the source code, created the nbms, and installed the plugin to NB 6.8 well enough, but it seems that the Perforce Java wrapper is unable to work out my Perforce client. I'm using the P4PORT and P4CONFIG environment variables so that it discovers the name of my Perforce client by looking at a file in the workspace. What I was hoping to see in the UI was a means for defining the Perforce environment settings (e.g. host, port, client name). Instead, the connections dialog and list browser just show ",," and are not editable. Thanks for getting this started, hopefully you have time to develop and maintain it. |
Compatible with P4CONFIG discovery of client?

Right. The env variables are not used. That's a valuable suggestion, I should take as default values the env variables. I will put a task on that. In order to configure the client you should go to Preferences -> Version System -> Perforce and insert there the connection information. Sorry about that. The plugin is still under heavy development, a lot of features needs to be done. Thanks for your time. |
