= Perforce Netbeans Versioning Client Wiki = There are several attempts to implement a client for Perforce Version System. Even so, none of the implementations thrilled me. Don't want to be mean, I know that if you do some Open Source you do it on your own will and expensive personal time. But it seems that the actual solutions have some missing things. What is the difference with the implementation I propose? There are some implementation decisions which will make the difference: * Use P4JAPI supported by Perforce to deal with the Perforce commands (get rid of the whole creepy things related to the p4 command line usage) * Build on Java 6 (5 will be dead soon, the code should look a little bit nicer) * Compatible with 6.8 at least If you have a little extra time and you will to help you are very welcomed. It's Open Source so is also a place for you on that. Just give me a message. You can develop, document, test or whatever you want. So you soon and happier than yesterday! ==Call for help== I am aware that in this new modern world, one of the main problems is time. That happens to me, also.
