The core functionality of the service is to make the content of ontologies, thesauri and other controlled vocabularies a resource for comparing the content of documents in repositories. One capability is browsing content of a single semantic network To use the Ontology Browser Open ontology browser. Select from drop-down name of an ontology. With radio button 'show / hide child' click on root node displayed to see names of immediate children. For maximum display control - Repeat click on individual Nodes else click 'animation' button to have browser walk the whole ontology and present all available leaf nodes until end of a branch (shown as red node) or pause is introduced by using 'stop' button. When browsing is paused User may employ 'movement / description' [radio button] options to View Text descriptions and/or move position of a particular node.
