Version 1.1 of the SMTP-Dummy NetBeans plug-in has been released in the download section.

In this release you'll find these added features:

  • Enable saving of caught mails in a user specified directory
  • Open mails on the system from within NetBeans (only Java 6)

Feel free to add requests to the issue tracker.

Thanks a lot.

In the past I did use a local mercury mail server for this, and sometimes I did forgot to stop delivering, so the mails got realy sent out :O

Actually this is the reason why I created the plug-in. I'm working on projects where the e-mails being sent out are rather serious (large monetary grants are given and work privileges are revoked). Having any of the e-mails dispatched to a real person and it could cause a rather serious problem.

Anyway, I'm glad that you like the plug-in.
