| I thought the three buttons in the toolbar above the source editor should do that so I reported SQE-30 as that does not seem to work. |

The 3 buttons were designed to suppress the highlighting (annotations). This feature is now somehow broken, since it has to disable the annotations generated from the hint infrastructure as well. Which solution would you prefer - just hide the annotations or disable the tool for the project the file belongs to? |

Just hiding the annotations for the current file would be okey. That way you can choose to not see the warnings in a file which can be handy of you just want to read a file that happens to have a lot of warnings. But it could also be good to have some way to temporarily disable a tool for a given project in case you want to save CPU cycles. As I have understood it now you choose to run the tool and then it is active and runs in the background when a file has changed. Some way of turning that on/off could be good. |
