I saw mention of a LAMP stack server in one of the API documents and with that I assume that Apache will be supported. I am curious about support for other application servers, specifically the Glassfish application server. Will the Glassfish application server be supported in the VDC?

My reason for asking is that I am currently developing a Java EE based web project using Glassfish, Java, Wicket, JPA and MySql, and I am wondering if the VDC would support this architecture. As I have applied for beta membership I want to make sure that I understand what resources will actually be available to myself and other developers.

I apologize if this isn't the correct forum for these questions and if it isn't please feel free to advise as to where these types of questions should be posted. Also, please point me to the correct document if these or similar questions are already answered in one of the published APIs.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff,
We're not saying a lot at this time, but Glassfish will be supported.

Thanks, Russ. I am relieved to know that Glassfish will be one of the server architectures supported on Sun's cloud. I look forward to learning more about the types of physical resources that will be available.
Jeff
