Decided to go with a new path for this twitter client, and start a new version from start. Version 2.0, which I consider now in beta, will be much simplier and better. It's built upon twitter4j library, from Yusuke Yamamoto, so it now uses OAuth only as authentication method, been more secure. It was supposed to use the Streamming API, but this requies Basic Authentation, them I decided to go with OAuth. I now supports the twitter Lists feature, so you can see each lists. Am also using more of the effects JavaFX provides, having a better user experience. It has now its main features implemented: - OAuth athentication - You may choose to not store your credentials, or to clear them later - You can them keep more them one instance open, with different accouts - It have tray icon, and alerts on updates - Timeline, Mentions and Directs Messages - Twitter Lists - Search, with automatic updates and alerts - Have a popup menu on the tweet to see it's options, clicking on the image Plan is to also integrate url shortening and yfrog. Close the application and launch it again.
