Veriscale Manager Wiki

The Veriscale Manager project aims to design and create a BPEL based tool that will bridge a RESTful API based on the Sun Cloud API specification with one or more resource managers such as Oracle VM, Eucalyptus, Xen or KVM. The primary reason behind inserting the BPEL engine into the path is to facilitate the building of clouds that can be easily integrated with existing environments using SOA practices.
Many of the concepts are an extension of a previous project called OpenDI. Information about OpenDI can be found at the following locations:
The chosen BPEL engine is GlassFishESB v2.2 (unreleased). This product and version was chosen due to it's support of RESTful transactions. The initial resource manager we are working with is Oracle VM.
