Programming the Zettelkasten and changing the source code
In case you like to contribute code to this project, please note following points:
For compatibility reasons, please use the NetBeans-IDE if you want to work on the source code within this project!
Since Apple's JDK seems to be buggy according to the Mac Aqua Look&Feel (see here, Swing Layout Library Version 1.0.3 has to be used to ensure that the Zettelkasten UI looks the same on all OS. See here how to replace the Swing Layout Library in NetBeans 6.9.
Stage of Development
Development of version 3.2 is in progress. At the moment, the source is still "closed", will be published when version 3.2 is finished
To Do
- changing the NewEntry-Interface from tagged formatting to WYSIWYG-editing
- adding more comments to the source and stating some comments more precisely
- completion of JavaDoc
