PCVSLib is a pure perl library which implements most of the CVS (Concurrent Versions System) protocol and can be used to create special purpose CVS clients. It was written to ease the handling and to speed up certain aspects of the OpenOffice.org development process and was originally part of the OpenOffice.org code tree. It is provided here in the hope that it might still be useful in cases where the CVS command line client is not flexible enough.
