The successor to Spring Rich Client, Spring Desktop seeks to reuse the Spring Rich Client groundwork, but alter the framework in such a way it's ready for the new decade.

Its time to look into something simple again. JSF is complex Web UI, with lot of learning and immense workload on the server. Java FX is just coming up. Its time to step backwards and build a simple ajax oriented UI based on jQuery javascript framework and custom Java tag libraries. This integrates with Strut 2 and Spring MVC with JSON data exchange

This project aims at developing a rich text editor for the web from the server side.. Unlike other rich text editors which are built in the client side, this editor has to overcome the former's disadvantages.
