Tourism and Transit Information System (TORTIS) is an application able to compute the most cost-effective path when boarding the train (LRT, Monorail, KTM Komuter) to get to any destination in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its target users are tourists and also residents of Malaysia. In addition, to appeal to the tourists, the system will also display important information about a destination and also its tourist attraction there.

Moving trains, busses, trams, autos on the screen, animated vehicles before animated backgrounds, created in a cooperative manner. People can upload their pictures to a server, users can select, which trains and which scenes should run on the screen. It should show the scenes also in a test window, in a low full-screen width window docked on the top or bottom of the screen or in a small windows always on the top.
