      Description

Currently, everytime you run an android project, you get a 'Select a device' dialog. Having to select it over and over again everytime I run a project is really annoying, especially because you have to click on 'select running device' and then select the device and then click on OK button, that's 3 pointless clicks everytime you run a project.

I propose some kind of 'global' device selection, for example a combobox with all the connected devices / running AVDs (or just a button that would bring up the mentioned 'Select a device' dialog), so that when you actually run the project, the selected device is used.
I am currently developing a logcat output window module, where you can see the logcat output of the device, and this 'global' selection would be very good thing for me too, because i don't want to 'reinvent the wheel' by creating a device selection method of my own (or using your 'select a device' dialog, because i assume if a person wants to run a project on one device, he wants to see the logcat output of the same device).
I also think this would benefit anyone who would be developing any additional modules for this project, like the one of my own.

There is a project settings fo this. Select project node, open its properties and select the device that you want to use in Run tab.

Or do you mean something else?

Oh, sorry, I did not saw this option but you can only choose AVDs from there, not the real devices. Also, if there was any simple way to know which device is selected this way from other modules, that would be really useful (maybe put the device object in the lookup of the project node)
