I can not put new files or update current ones for our project's website using Dream Weaver CS4 built-in WebDav utility.

Problem 1
Everytime I put a new file, I get this error:

Started: 15/10/2009 4:12 PM

untitled.html - error occurred - An HTTP error occurred - cannot put untitled.html. Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem.

File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed.

Files with errors: 1
untitled.html

Finished: 15/10/2009 4:12 PM

Problem 2
Ever time I put a modified file a file which already exists on the site, despite the fact the no update is done, I get the following success message:

Started: 15/10/2009 4:24 PM

index.html - Put operation successful

File activity complete.
Files updated: 1

Finished: 15/10/2009 4:24 PM

Hi Gallal,

We'll see if we can reproduce this. Maybe the log files on our end will give us a little more info as to what is failing. I see the date and time stamp in your post, can you tell me what timezone you are in please? That will help us narrow things down in the logs.

Thanks for filing the report. We'll do what we can to get it working.

Thanks for the quick reply and sorry for taking so long from my part.

I just had a problem with the the way Dreamweaver CS5 renders the behavior code. Evidently the WSIWYG code generated by Dreamweaver CS5 made my site vulnerable to SQL injection. My real estate database was not allowing browsers to get to the next page. Thank goodness an update from adobe and rewriting the behavior codes fixed my navigation problems. with my Key West Real Estate database.
