How to Participate in PIP Project

One of the observer members just expressed interest in participation and wanted advice. We thought it would be a good idea to share some guidance with everyone who is interested in wanting to get started. So here it is:

  • Have you done the installation of the executable version of Protean and GreEd? If not, we suggest you become more familiar with the tools by downloading them from http://www.proteme.org/download3.html and installing them. Please do not download the old version of the tool that is also available at the site but use the link provided you here.

  • Once you are have done this much please get in touch with us so that we can guide you further. When you contact us, let us know about your development skill sets, i.e., what programming languages, IDEs, frameworks, databases and familiarity with SVN etc. This will allow us to think what would be the best way for you to participate

  • Do not forget to bookmark this project (this will just bookmark the project in Kenai and not in your browser, and you will be assigned observer status on the project) and if you are interested in staying informed, signing up for our newsletters at http://kenai.com/projects/pip/lists
